Reverse-engineer what goes viral
The hardest part of making videos or writing posts isn't the writing — it's finding the right idea. That usually means watching hours of videos and podcasts and guessing why some of them take off.
OddPen does that work for you. You tell it which creators to follow; it pulls in their new content, turns it into text, uses AI to break down why it worked and what's missing, and then drafts full scripts you can record — your content research assistant, running on your own computer.
How it works
- You subscribe to a few sources (YouTube channels, podcasts, newsletters, RSS feeds).
- OddPen checks them on a schedule and pulls in anything new.
- It turns each video or episode into a clean transcript (using captions, or AI transcription when there are none).
- AI breaks it down: the opening hook, the emotional arc, why it resonated, and the gaps it left open.
- It gives you 3 fresh angles to adapt — pick one, and it writes a complete, ready-to-read script.
Good to know: OddPen doesn't include its own AI. It works with an AI key you provide — and there are free options (like Google Gemini or Groq). OddPen shows you exactly how to get one. Your content goes straight from your computer to the AI provider you choose — it never passes through us.
Who it's for
OddPen is for anyone who publishes regularly and needs a steady stream of ideas and scripts:
- Video creators — YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts (including faceless / niche channels)
- Podcasters researching topics and planning episodes
- Social media managers & agencies running several accounts at once
- Newsletter writers, bloggers, and content marketers
- Coaches, educators, and course creators turning ideas into lessons
- Small business owners doing their own marketing
Getting started
- Open OddPen — it launches in your browser.
- Add your AI key (free options work great; we walk you through it), and tell OddPen a little about your style so scripts sound like you.
- Paste the links of the sources you want to follow.
- Let it fetch. Open any item, then: Analyze → Get 3 angles → Generate script.
- Save the ones you love — they're stored as simple files on your computer.
A little helper: Oddie
In the corner of the app you'll find Oddie, a friendly pixel robot. It answers common questions and, when it can't help, lets you reach our team in one click. It's built from simple rules — it doesn't use AI and it never looks at your private content.
